WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

My practice is virtual for people located across the state of California and the state of Florida. Telehealth sessions take place on Simple Practice, a secure HIPPA compliant platform. Walk and Talk sessions are available for people located in California in the Bay Area.

WHAT IS THE LENGTH AND FREQUENCY OF SESSIONS?

A standard session is 50 mins long and takes place weekly.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

No, I am considered an out-of-network provider. Superbills are provided if you’d like to file a claim for potential reimbursement, which depends on your insurance policy’s out-of-network benefits.

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to assess if we are a good fit.

50 minute individual therapy sessions: $200 per session. Sliding Scale spots are available if there is financial hardship.

WHAT IS A SUPERBILL?

A superbill is an invoice that can be used to file a claim for potential insurance reimbursement. At the end of each month, you’ll receive a document that has my provider information, the dates and rates of services, a code that tells your insurance company what type of services you received, and a diagnostic code that tells your insurance company what you received services for. In order to provide a superbill, I have to offer a diagnostic impression, which can be addressed during session.


WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

If you are unable to make it to session, you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or no show to the appointment, you will be responsible for the full cost of the missed session. I understand life/emergencies happen and am as flexible as possible to accommodate for this.

OUT OF STATE POLICY

California clients must be physically present in California for every telehealth session. Florida clients must be physically present in Florida for every telehealth session. If you attend a session while out of state, the session will end immediately. This is considered a late cancellation and you will be responsible for the full cost of the missed session.
